Certified used car FAQs
What does certified pre-owned mean?
A certified pre-owned (CPO) vehicle is a used vehicle that meets a manufacturer's age and mileage limits, passes that manufacturer's multi-point inspection and comes with factory-backed warranty coverage. Only franchised dealers for that brand can sell it as factory certified.
Which brands can I buy certified at Oxmoor Auto Group?
Oxmoor Auto Group sells factory-certified Toyota, Ford, Mazda, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, Hyundai and Genesis vehicles in Louisville, and Kia and Audi certified vehicles in the Lexington area (Kia of Lexington in Nicholasville and Audi Lexington).
Which certified program has the longest powertrain warranty?
Hyundai Certified Used, Genesis Certified and Kia Certified Pre-Owned each carry 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain coverage measured from the original in-service date. Toyota Gold Certified, Ford Gold Certified, Mazda CPO and Stellantis CPOV carry 7-year/100,000-mile powertrain coverage.
Can I buy a certified vehicle that isn't the store's brand?
Ford's Blue Certified tier accepts any make and model up to 10 years old with under 150,000 miles, so Oxmoor Ford can certify non-Ford vehicles under Ford Blue Advantage. Other programs certify only their own brand.
